This does not come assembled. You must solder it together. The photos only show the completed item.
Included is PCB, pin headers, IC sockets, and passives.
If you choose to include a programmed ROM, you must specify a specific image to be programmed in the checkout notes area.
The ROM image you need, are the numbers written on the 6530 you are replacing.
Only compatible with CBM IEEE floppy drives, including 2040, 3040, 4040, 8050, 8250, 8250LP, SFD-1001.

Bought 6x the 6530 kit, because of that absolutely unbeatable price!!! Great quality of PCB! Great quality of parts! Soldering works like a charm. And it's obviously working in my 8296-D. (Although I can not quite judge 100%, as other things inside the floppy are still broken, but the "5x-red-LED-blink-error-code" is gone and the drives spin up and step as they should). Got a 6532 from ebay for 13 . And I use an AT28C64 as ROM, because it's reflashable. Delivery to Germany was o.k., too. Import tax was 3,16 . Unfortunately the German bureaucrats charged me 6 additional fee for lending me the 3,16 :-) But that can't lower my happiness. Thanks for these great parts!!!
